Knock Knock Kaiju
This fun and comedic cartoon takes the monster movie genre and spins it into a punchy gag.
Everything starts with the characters. They are the stars of the animation. In this case that star is a sky scraping lizard monster.
Story boarding is an essential part of the storytelling process.
I use my story boards to hone in on how my shots will be composed.
Communication is key. I always want my boards to be as clear as possible.
After the boards it's time to start animating. Every character needs to move and speak naturally.
I use a combination of rigged and hand drawn elements to achieve smooth movement.
The final product is where it all comes together.
